Greg McElroy is scheduled to start for the Jets against the Chargers. What took them so long? Say what you want, but the guy has a knack for winning and he's tough as nails. Whatever the outcome, I'll bet he doesn't end up throwing 4 interceptions in a game. I hope he wears them out.

Depends on how stupid the Coaches are. I don't think Peyton Manning could have pulled off a win with the stupid chit I saw last night.
Character is not developed in moments of temptation and trial. That is when it is intended to be used.

I like Greg and would love to see him show out.
The left lane is for the the purpose of moving the flow of traffic forward regardless of the speed limit. If your impeding the flow of traffic get your ass in the right lane. It's really that simple...

Look for Tebow to get most of the snaps after McELroy throws a couple of picks. New York has the worst 3 QB's in the NFL.

My luck has been so bad lately, it could be raining pussies and I'd catch one with a dick broke off in it.

for his sake, I hope they allow him to show what he can do with the full playbook. Would be a good opportunity for him to showcase his abilities and hopefully have another team trade for him during the offseson as their #2 QB. If he stays in NY, he will be stuck in the quagmire of the Jets and get to deal with the idiocy of coaches and owners that team has.

The jets lost all hope of a playoff birth last night, that is why they are giving Gmac an opportunity now,he should have gotten the chance the past few games especially last night when they needed it but the NFL is a popularity contest,no matter how bad you suck you will play as long as you are popular.Gmac will never suck as bad as Sanchez, the guy just needs an opportunity to prove himself

I have never liked Rex Ryan. I don't think GMac is the problem. I think it's the whole dang team. The Jets suck.....Period!!!!

You would think that after three interceptions they would have pulled Sanchez and at least given the team a chance to win with Greg. The loss against the Titans ended any playoff hopes. Greg is basically interviewing for a job next season. Hope he wins out for the now defunct Jets and teaches Ryan a lesson.

I just wonder how Ryan has kept his job to begin with. Why is he so hell bent on not playing Tebow or McElroy? It's Ryan's own career he's crashing. Ray Charles could see Sanchez needed pulling months ago. He's in the bottom 3 QB's of all the 32 NFL teams. I would've put the freakin' punter in before keeping that nightmare going.

McElroy pulled off a Brody today with 11 sacks. Qb rating of 65. No wonder they put up with Sanchez for so long.

Rebel, i know your super self could save the train wreck that is the jets. But i don't think even your beloved cammy cam could succeed behind that OL.

I am certain you are correct....since ALL Bama fans AND McElroy himself said he was better prepared for the NFL than Cam.
I guess we see how that is working out! LMAO

Yea Cam's a real winner of a QB also. I think he should wear a dress to the pressers after they lose a game. He whins and pouts like Laura Ingalls.

My money is with Tebow. He has a never lose attitude that I can't see why Ryan don't see it. Tebow will take one on the chin for the team and not complain in the process.
Who cares though, Tebow has now made enough to live happily for the rest of his life. He has a beautiful girlfriend and the Good Lord on his side, so what else could a man ask for.

Cam will never win a Super Bowl. Check the stats on other African American/Scrambling quarterbacks and championships. McNabb, Moon, Cunningham, Vick, Young, man think of all the championships I am naming here!!! Cam an RGIII are no different, how many times is RGIII gonna get hurt this year? And Cam is no different from the rest, to easy to stop for a Big Boy team tht knows how to win like the New York Giants, New England Patriots, or Pittsburg Stealers.
Not a racist post, just a fact
To bring Cam or any of the other quarterbacks above into a discussion opposite any other quarterback that has ever thrown a ball in the NFL shows lack of football knowledge.

Here is an interesting stat...... 40.6
That is Cam Newtons QB Rating against the Giants this year.
I guess McElroy is actually 25 points better than him.
