I was grouse hunting in with my Dad and one of his buddies near Saco Montana when we came up on some rocks stacked up in the form of a wall about 6 feet long on the side of a little hill. One side of the wall was covered in potchmarks. Looked like bullets had hit it. We told the land owner about it and he had never seen it. Of course he owned like 38,000 ac and hadn't been on all of it.

Found a 1858 dime once while preseason scouting near Fort Benning laying in an old logging road once. I laid it on my dresser near where I put other change and must have mixed it in with the other change and gave it to one of the kids by mistake.

I was cruising a tract of timber once one the Walker/Chatooga Co GA line. I came up on the north end of Little River where it starts. Located on the creek was a stacked stone shape like an old coffin. It was perfectly constructed. Just where the persons neck would have been was a slender stone stretched all the way accross the grave. I looked at it for about 10 seconds, looked around to see if something was watching me, and went on. Never found it again after we bought the timber. Although I have seen a lot of things strange, that gave me the creeps,

Found several large rectangular piles of rock big enough to cover up a coffin, all on top of a little hill with a layer of stone one rock deep all the way around them out two feet, figure it was Indian graves Mayne???? And about a mile from there while hauling atse to a turkey, my dad suddenly stopped with his arms out to the side to stop me, to which I asked what thecrap are u doing, he said look infront of me, a hole about 4' in diameter. Thank god it was light enough to see it. He threw a old flashlight down it, not saying it was 100' deep but we didn't hear it hit anything, could have had a layer of leaves at the bottom and we couldn't see the light
2) on the way to hunt saw some taillights on one of our roads, came back to find two Idots laying infront of their car covered in gold paint!!!! They were huffing gold spray paint out of Walmart sacks, it was cold as hell and they were laying in mud holes with shorts on
Give me bout 15 more minutes, I was dreamin about beavers.......... Si Robertson

Several 5 gal. buckets of Mary J., a 1970's model buick in a tree or 2 trees (used as a shooting house, painted camo), a condom in the middle of 13000 acres (litereally off in the woods, miles from any houses)

Not a hunting trip but a trail riding trip on what is now the cahaba WMA. My girlfriend was in the truck with me and some of our friends were in another truck behind us. It's right at dusk and we had our headlights on driving up a coal road. As I'm driving I see 2 figures walking towards us on the road. Ones on the left and one is on the right side of the road. I stayed at the same speed as our headlights got closer to them my girlfriend said "BRANDON" in a concerned tone. These two figures were dressed in full army fatigues and helmets, with full army packs holding what appeared to be m1 carbines across there chest. They were marching step for step in perfect stride. Aside from the obvious, The weird thing was that as we drive past them, neither one took his eyes off of the "strait forward march" to look at us. It was almost like they didn't even know we were. Needless to say we didn't stop to say hello. We drove about two miles up the road and stopped to make sure our friends had seen them too. Thankfully they had. This was in the mid 90's and the army fatigues were of that time not like a WWII style. It was freaky but not terrifying. The craziest part was the marching and there eyes not looking at us. It was just outside brantleyvile so I'm sure it was just 2 good'uns out the playing war games by themselves.
If your decoy doesnt have holes in it, your not letting him get close enough... J.H.

In the woods I grew up in as a child, found 5 dead rabbits laid neatly in a circle with burnt pages of the bible in the middle of them. Looked like some sort of sacrificing ring or something...
It's a sanctuary.

We've had a similar thread on here in the past...some weird stuff spoken of.
For me: 1986, 11th grade, Carroll County, Mississippi. Stalk hunting on a hunting club along the Big Black River swamp. Slipping up to a thicket where I had jumped a really large buck a few weeks prior...my 30-30 in hand and at the ready. As i eased up to and into the thicket I realized there was no deer there that day, then I saw it. Remember that I was just in this exact spot 2 weeks before. Fresh dug rectangular hole, 2-3 feet wide and about 4-5 feet long, maybe 3 feet deep. Shovel stuck into the fresh spoil mound.
The hair on my head and body stood on end. I was at least a mile from the closest road, even furthr to the nearest home. I've never ever run so fast in all my life...even with constantly turing to look behind me as I ran. I went to the sherriff'f office and told them what I found. I had to take them back to the spot. As far as I know they never figured out what was up. Had about the same thing happen to me. I was scouting way back in the woods on a dim trail. There were 2 rectangle holes side by side. I got out of there in a hurry but didnt even think to tell the police. I went back several months later and couldnt find any signs of them. It had been after a summer and fall after the leaves had fallen.

Indian arrowhead hunters digging for artifacts. Most don't cover up the hole when they finish digging. I have an Indian mound on some of the property I hunt and the holes there are big enough to turn my tractor over in. Beats anything I have ever seen.

Forgot to mention, after last spring's tornados here in North Alabama, wife and I were in the woods walking and we found a red blanket hanging from the top of a century old whiteoak tree. That thing was at least 75 feet up in the tree. We also picked up all kinds of medical paperwork from Smithville, Mississippi which was a town destroyed in the storms that day. I gave them away to a science teacher at school to use in class. The blanket is still in the tree-I saw it about two weeks ago.
