I use scoutlook weather, weather channel app and the abc 33/40 weather app.

mossy oak weather is free and incorporates scoutlook that aint. i agree the scent cones from scoutlook are nice.

ABC3340 weather app has what I need and works reliably.

I've got a bunch of them. The one I use the most is weatherbug. Wunderground has good sun and moon data and I have another one called windalert that gives real time wind data from weather stations in the area.

I have a android and use MYCAST weather app and when any warning is issued I get a alarm on my phone.

Radar Scope. It will cost you $9.99 but it provides a heck of a lot for that amount. shows tornado and thunderstorm watch/warning polygons. you can select different radar's all over the country too.
