I grew up with Jerry and he is a real good guy.He has killed two deer this year with 308" between them. One was a palmated 8 with three stickers that scored 148 and this stud which was taped a little over 160.The deer were killed in the mountains of western Jackson County and thats all I'm saying about that.Durn good deer, when I saw the trail picts. I thought he might make B&C but he fell short by a few inches.Anyway good deer for a nice family man.

I'd be willing to bet 2dogs is going to be patient for about 8 more days, then he'll start piling them up...but that's just my guess....

I hope he's good friends with the land owner and has lots of money or he'll lose this lease by next year. It's happened to me a couple of times.
Never let people know what your killing unless you have more money than they do. They'll backstab you every time.

Heck of a nice deer.......

You would be dead wrong. I know this guy personally. Jam up guy. This is one nice buck and it's his second over 150 inches this year. This deer was taken in the woods of Jackson co not off a road. One of the best deer hunters i know. Good luck getting him to tell you were his lease is tho. All I know is general area. Cant blame him tho taking multiple deer of that caliber

I Think he was joking buddy, you know how it goes, every big deer that gets posted on here has all the above mentioned in how it was killed. I don't think anyone is accusing him of anything just the normal aldeer ribbing.

it MAY not get on here, but you can bet there will be lots of stories, third hand, about how that deer was killed at night/over corn/off the road/without permission////etc. etc, an nauseum.

congrats on a damn fine deer. I'd a missed that score by at least 15 er 20 inches...

I've spent most of the money I've made in my lifetime on hunting and fishing. The rest I just wasted.....
