I was hunting a cutover Sat. morning and saw something in the sage that didnt look right. Put my binocs on it and could see the rack in the sage, then made out the eyes and nose. Thats all i could see, he was bedded there watching me watch him. This went on for two hours. I finally couldnt stand it anymore and decided to make something happen. So i shot where i thought his body might be(hoping he would stand). He stood up quickly at the shot(i didnt hit him with 1st shot) and started walking toward wood line. I was able to hit him with the next two shots and he went down. It was a damn nerve racking morning. Long shots for me to(260 yards).

Very ethical shot??? I shot where I thought his body was??? I'm sorry, this is why people accidently shoot people and wound a lot of animals. Use your head here. Wait for a clear broadside shoot or at least a clear shoot at the vitals.
