Someone correct me if I'm wrong but at the time of contact was not the ball still in play? As I remember it was and Murray was going towards the play. This ain't practice and he doesn't get to wear a red cover over his jersey

There is no way in hell that anybody thought he was going for a tackle....the play was over!

Clinton-Dix intercepted the ball somewhere around the Alabama 15 yard line. He returned it all the way to about the Georgia 47 before he was brought down. Dial hit Murray at the Georgia 45 before Clinton Dix went down. Murray hit the ground before Clinton-Dix did. They both ended up on the ground about 10 or 12 feet apart as the replay shows. Whether or not it was a dirty hit might be debatable, but your version of the way it went down is .............well actually it's really not any more stupid than most of the other stuff you post on the sports forum so carry on I guess.
Plenty of youtube video of the play. Clinton-Dix was being shoestring tackled about the 45 and Murray was probably the last Ga player between Clinton-Dix and the goal line. When the ball was intercepted Murray went from Qb to being a defensive player, Dial led with his shoulder, not his head. Even Murray said after the game it was a clean hit.

He was making a good return and Murray looked like he knew he was about to have to make the tackle (kind of like a punter/kicker on a good return). He was positioning himself to be the last resort tackler. He got his clock cleaned, as he should've. Dix was still up when the hit occurred. If the tackle hadn't been made, and Dial hadn't hit Murray, then Murray would most definitely have had the best shot at making the tackle. And, Saban would've rightfully lit Dial up on the sidelines for allowing Murray to make the tackle. The only thing he did wrong was helmet to helmet, which appeared to be unintentional. He should've been flagged and that's about it. It was no more flagrant than the hit McCarron took shortly before it.

Pretty obvious that someone has never even seen the play but feels the need to "correct" everyone who did, or is just so full of Bama hate that he doesn't mind lying about it...
Pretty obvious to a blind man that Murray was already flat on his back before Clinton-Dix was. Also pretty obvious that Murray was headed toward the action.
