I don't get it myself, I've shot corelockts since they came out in certain rifles & can't remember ever having a dud, but a buddy bought a BLR 308 and had several duds in 2 boxes he burned up sighting it in, changing scopes & re-sighting it. He switched to Hornady SST's and had pretty much the same results. I have doubts that it has anything to do with the ammo.
I make it a practice to completely disassemble & clean any gun I buy before I bother trying to shoot it.
