Looked like it hit just above the knee joint to me. Honestly, I think you will be wasting your time looking for this deer.
What kind of hunter would you be if you didn't spend a decent amount of time looking for this deer. Aside from the fact that he is a mature quality buck that uour kid shot. video evidence shows that the bullet hit the deer. It may have been s poorly plzced shot but you never know unless you look. You may or may not find this deer but as a hunter you should always try to recover a deer that you shot. Hnters that dont try and recover all game that we have reason to believe we connected with gives scall a bad name. Man I really hope you find him . Please keep us posted.
