I know this isnt my deer or anything but it is bugging the piss outta me! To me it looks like a a good hit... Did you find any blood at all?
No blood and we even had two excellent dogs with us. I have seen these dogs in action before and they would have found the deer if he was dead. I am never quick to give up on a deer and I am confident that this deer survived.
And believe me, I was like you at first. It looked like a good hit. BUT, when I put it on my bigger screen and slowed the original footage down frame by frame (which you can't do on the youtube link), it is obvious he was hit in the upper leg. Hopefully he will show up on a trail camera. If he does, I will post it.
