The number and quality of food plots on Skyline WMA has been in decline over the last ten-fifteen years. Every year it seems there are less and less that actually get planted and the ones that do look pitiful. Not sure why this is. I sure wish they would bring back the Wade Manning era plots with the greenfield/chufa patches. Those were awesome. You could hunt about any plot and see deer,and the chufa patches were covered up with turkeys in the spring.
However, they are adding more land to the WMA every year. Even though there is no access to it.....
