Very nice old 700 with the aluminum butt plate - what Remington makes now is junk compared to that rifle.
That BDL is a classic and I wish I had one in .270 or 7mm. However, in my opinion, the CDL in wood with blued barrel is a sweet gun and in no way a piece of junk. Never been a fan of synthetics or stainless barrels. I'm old school.

I'd be interested in giving cash for a 6mm. I've also got a RUGER BLACKHAWK in .41 MAG (excellent condition) plus some cash to make up any difference.
I've got a BDL that I've been using since the early 80s in .270 LH that I put a new scope a few years ago. Bought my son and daughter a CDL in .270 LH and .243 respectively. Just got a scope for my son's rifle as he started with the .243.
