I've looked at the Luminox Blackout. It is a good looking watch. However it doesn't have any of the other functions (compass, temperature, sunset/sunrise, barometric pressure, depth, etc) as the Suunto and is priced similarly.
If those are the features you need, you've found your watch. Some of the G-shocks might do some of those functions.
If you want to spend way too much time looking at some opinions on watches, check out the website watchuseek.com. But be forewarned, those people talk about watches like folks on here talk about oil filters and clothes hangers.
