Looked out the back door this morning and was surprised to see Hooded Mergansers on the neighbors pond. They come in every year but this is the earliest I have ever seen them. Maybe this means that Pintail I saw a couple of years ago will be back this year.
Is anyone else seeing some earlier than normal?

Rumrunner doesnt know the difference in a mallard and a canada goose so I wouldnt trust his sightings. Crenshawco probably really saw what he said he saw.
