Any recurve hunters here? I’m thinking about making the switch and want to know what brand is best?

Too subjective, you are the only guy that can answer that question after trying different bows for yourself.

I personally shoot Black Widows but there are a lot of good bows out there. More importantly than the brand of bow is having it tuned with your arrows well. Trying to shoot too much poundage is a bad idea too. Be prepared for a pretty big learning curve, lots of highs and lows. I love it and it put the magic back into hunting for me. Good luck.

IF i were going to dedicate myself to trad, i would first start with a low poundage take-down bow & groove my form (most likely with the help of a mentor) & see where i was at after 1 year …

if i was still on fire after 1 year, then i would invest in it more deeply

i did the opposite - bought a nice Bear recurve - went back to my compounds pretty quickly 🤣
