For those that use rice bran, can you tell any difference in preference between peanut butter and persimmon flavor?

I haven’t heard as many good reviews about the persimmon. I’ve used Apple and the Deer tore it up especially Buck. Buddies swear by the peanut butter.

Apple has a really strong aroma. If you've got hogs anywhere near, they'll be on it within hours and clean it up. Never heard anything good or bad about persimmon but I can tell you that the peanut butter will attract them.

Peanut butter hands down in my experience. I have bought the persimmon before when it’s all they had, and it took them twice as long to eat it.

I use plain rice bran, only problem is they won't leave it alone. They will consume 50 lbs in about 2 days so clean all u can see is bare dirt. Put some out last year in a spot that had never had rice bran or a corn feeder and put a camera on it. Within 2 hours deer were on it like a swarm of bees. 8 different bucks, 3 were fully mature, one was 130 in, grandson killed him right after Christmas and another that was about 140. Neighbor killed him early in the gun season. The bucks were on the bran pile in broad daylight morning and midday to early afternoon. Wishing I could find a timed bran feeder that worked

The biggest problem I have with rice bran is it is gone when I come back to hunt. Peanut butter is the ticket for my deer.

The best deer attractant that I’ve ever used was Deadly Dust
I did a side by side comparison with several other attractants a couple of times and every time it was Deadly Dust that the deer went to bypassing the others
If I wanted to know what deer were in the area this is what I’d use If its still available
When I need expert advice I tend to talk to myself
The older I get the better I used to be

I bought a rice brand vibration feeder. It has been out for two years and the only thing that has eaten a bite are yellow jackets (they really like it). The deer destroy the corn feeder 20 feet away. I am trying the rice brand on another property this year.
