Been wanting to try some squirrel hunting at Hollins before deer season starts. Never hunted any management area before and so I feel a little hesitant to just go tromping around and end up in someone's way. Any suggestions or anything I need to know that isn't written on the area permit?

It's public land. I'd say go hunt/tromp around all you want.

I used to see a bunch of fox squirrels on the A side of Hollins back when I hunted up there a good bit. I miss those big open woods, I gotta get back up there some this year.
