Just another way that Sankey and the SEC screwed up. Weekly injury reports used to not be a thing. Now they are mandated by the big conferences. Why, because it helps the gambling base, which in turn puts more emphasis on the games, which in turn brings more publicity and eyes on the games, which in turn increases TV contracts and revenues to the conferences. Just another monetary, big business decision, that is helping ruin college sports.
I think maximizing the value of the conference is line 1 in his job description.
