I'd go to Boot Barn or Cavender's around B'ham and see what you can find. Those cheap Justins that Outback mentioned from Tractor Supply are plentiful.

hey BC - i commissioned a beaver/rabbit blend western felt hat with Nathaniel’s out of Texas a couple years ago - WELL pleased with how it turned out - he doesn’t punch nails in his hats 🤣🤠

if you’re looking for a cheap but good felt/wool hat, the Cavender’s brand hats are actually made by Serratelli & i’ve had good luck with them - the Ranch Collection hats specifically around $80 …
