Okay, it's sure to be a fun game. Is Lane pulling a fast one, or is his QB Levitt really injured and potentially not going to play this Saturday? Things were already going to get interesting but that would take it to a whole different level.

I seriously doubt Levitt is really hurt and it is just typical Lane Kiffin drama being drummed up.

Betting lines are adjusted based on injury reports - since gambling is so tightly coupled with college football; IF lane is lying (which I think is very possible) there could be some serious federal consequences. Lane needs to be careful being Lane - I doubt the Mississippi Gaming Commission would turn a blind eye to his shenanigans.

Tom Brady was listed on the Patriots weekly injury report for years.

Betting lines are adjusted based on injury reports - since gambling is so tightly coupled with college football; IF lane is lying (which I think is very possible) there could be some serious federal consequences. Lane needs to be careful being Lane - I doubt the Mississippi Gaming Commission would turn a blind eye to his shenanigans. The SEC also has the discretion to levy penalties for inaccurate or late reports. Doubtful means there is only a 25% chance to play. Leavitt has been upgraded to "questionable".

If they were playing in Tiger Stadium, Corndogs would run away but Ole Miss is going to be wild. I think Ole Miss pulls it out..The corndogs really didnt look good last week. Also, the QB doubtful is bs….

Ol' Miss has the motivation, but LSU has the talent and the coaching. The motivation carry Ol' Miss for a little while, but it will only go so far.

I think that you're going to be proven correct Irish. And when and if the runaway starts, Lane will not be calling off he dogs. He'll be pouring gas on the fire and throwing them red meat. After the on-campus crap this week with his daughter, who still goes to school at Ole Miss, he will be doing his best to embarrass the school, the administration, the football program, and the fans.

Just another way that Sankey and the SEC screwed up. Weekly injury reports used to not be a thing. Now they are mandated by the big conferences. Why, because it helps the gambling base, which in turn puts more emphasis on the games, which in turn brings more publicity and eyes on the games, which in turn increases TV contracts and revenues to the conferences. Just another monetary, big business decision, that is helping ruin college sports.

In 2026, they will be mandated for all basketball teams participating in the NCAA's March Madness Tournament every 24 hrs and will be required to be formally updated for a final time, at least 2 hrs prior to tip off.
