I got a great attitude. I just call em like I see em. If it steps on your toes it’s not my fault or personal. You and I have spoken before I’m sure you’re a great guy but if it offends someone it wasn’t personal or a jab but I’m sick of people telling me how much better things are when more and more people are seeing it’s not. Unfortunately it seems to be split in my opinion largely on a generational line.

And now when a person is in their retirement years all of the sudden becoming concerned with the direction of things and becoming dedicated to fixing a problem that they helped create, through allowing the gov to get where it is. But hey now that kids are grown and the stock markets booming let fix it all. Russia, China, Middle East my retirements good let’s fix and all these guys complain are just left wing babies.

I understand hard times. I come from a very working class family. My dad made sure we didn’t need anything with 40 years of 7 day week blue collar work. And I’ve worked since I was 10 or 11 and most of my life held 2 jobs. I’ve been laid off been through plenty of ups and downs. That’s not what I’m talking about. I’m talking about the lies. Hard times I can deal with. The lies I can’t. This man is a liar and I can’t stomach it. Has nothing to do with the times themselves. I’ll make sure my families taken care of however I need to. But I don’t like being lied to and won’t be talked down too.

It also appears to your point that some of the older generation are more aligned with the system and the status quo. I don’t have any animosity towards anyone for their opinion but generally speaking when challenged they are the first ones to throw acronyms and names around as insults. BIL had their fleet card and got like .50 off a gallon for being a member. Most of theirs truck drivers are being discounted so you can’t look at Loves sticker price. A few other big operations do the same. Being a member you get better access to their services.
I think I photographed one of the owners sons of Loves. They were from nashville and rented the general Jackson for the reception. Had a chef flown in from San Francisco for a 13 course meal. I was the only one not in a limo. 😂

There are a lot of folks scared out of their minds that if Trump can't save this nation we are doomed. I once believed our fate rested in the hands of politicians but now I know for sure that God is fully in control and he's our only hope.
The Republican party is supposed to be the party of morality and Christian values and while that is true on the surface I think it's also subject to idolatry the same as the democrat party. So many of us have been saying for years that if we could just get the right outsider in office that he could fix this country. Trump was the person many pointed to as the answer. He's been put on a pedestal unlike anything I've ever seen from Republicans but I have seen it with Obama on the other side.
I think God gave us Trump the same way he gave the Israelites Saul. He's going to show us that we should never put our whole faith in man when only God holds the power of life and death. I'm disillusioned with politics because I've found it to be wholly unreliable and a terrible God. I wish we'd defend the faith with the same passion we defend these dirty politicians, Trump included. Unless we turn to God and he sees fit to save us our fate is sealed. Either way I'm not going to worry about what I've got no control over.
I do understand the fear of those being swallowed by fuel prices and inflation. I don't know how folks on fixed incomes that were barely making it a year ago are going to get by when their fuel cost have doubled and their expenses keep going up. They have a real problem to solve unlike those that are spending hours upon hours fretting over a political party so corrupt and broken they had rather conspire with the enemy (democrats) to keep fleecing us than to represent their constituents interest.
