I think it was made by the guy who made the original cabelas as gear so I’m sure it’s good stuff

ive got thier stuff. as a bowhunter I want quiet clothes that dont make any noise when drawing my bow.
code of silence is the appropriate name. its extremely quiet.
very warm and the colors blend in better than anything ive owned.
all my family and friends are wearing it now too.
its the real deal. I highly reccomend code of silence

love it, have slowly changed all my clothing over to it. Got one more piece to get for the cold weather gear, the bibs.
Yes, Ev Tarrell is the founder and he did work for cabelas for over 30 yrs as the lead in their hunting clothing line. Its good stuff. not waterproof but windproof and very warm

I have the complete COS VTS systems Anorka. It’s designed for saddle hunters, I’m a tree stand guy, it’s the best wearing most functional hunting gear I’ve ever owned. Paired with there merino flex lite base layer, I can go from bow hunting in Alabama to late season in the Midwest with these two sets of gear. It will repel water pretty well but it’s not rainproof.
Last year I called them one morning with a couple questions Ev Tarrell the owner answered the phone answered my questions and talked 10 minutes about hunting, thought that was pretty cool.

Sitka makes some very quiet and comfortable hunting clothing and everyone knows you can’t kill a deer if you aren’t dripped in Sitka gear

Their stuff is quiet because it’s wool, they play with different blends and textures and honestly it’s not a bad price for comparable wool hunting clothes. If you want to be silent in the woods, wool is tough to beat. Also naturally regulates body temperature and controls odor. I’m realizing more and more the old timers were on to something. A lot of the good value brands are from Canada (Codet and Big Bill) so the price is probably about to go up but Johnson Woolen Mill is still all made in VT
