Thanks for the info, somehow I was under the impression that Portland Landing had walk-in in cooler, good skinning/processing station and possibly even a lodge? I didn’t know if cedar creek had anything like that. We accepted both and going to see if my Brother is interested in going. I went ahead and booked one of the big cabins at Roland cooper state park, looked like one of the closest options and looks like a pretty good place. Also saw they have a really nice deer processing area in the state park now, so that could be handy if the SOA’s don’t have one.
I was at Portland last year and stayed at Roland copper in one of the cabins. Very nice complex and they did a good job on the deer processing area. Less than 10 minutes and you are at the sign in board for Portland. Good luck!
