If you shoot a .45-70 regularly, a 7prc will be nothing. All suppression systems lessen recoil. I would buy a suppressor depending on what your wants are. Yes, the OTB suppressors are nice because they help with overall length. I will tell you that if you didn’t have a suppressor before, you will be happy with whatever you get. Do your homework.
