No draw for me since I burned my points last year. Wife pretty much got pick of the litter for all January gun hunts on Portland, Uchee, and Cedar Creek though

Keep checking the site. I was an alternate at Cedar Creek with 5pts and have already moved up to hunter for 2/4 hunt! A lot of hunts will be put back in the pool once the top points people make their selections.

Started fresh this year so i knew there wasnt much to be optimistic about. All you guys with 4 or more points don't get your hopes up just yet. There was a big second wave of selections last year and lots of people moved to hunter or alternate even without selections on the draw date.
Its better to be a warrior in the garden than a gardener in war.
Some people feel the rain others just get wet.

1st email at 2:25 said I was not selected. 3:02 pm got another email saying I got alternate at Cedar Creek 1/5, 1/21, 2/4. I chose 1/21. 🙏🏻

I got Cedar Creek and Stimpson for 10-22 and alternates for alot at the first of January. Has anybody been to Cedar Creek 10-22

I had 4 points going in, not selected for any preference point hunts, but got selected for the random draw antlerless hunt on 11/05 at Cedar Creek. Only trouble is, my dad got selected for an antler less hunt at Portland the same weekend! I’m guessing we’re going to be better off doing the hunt at Portland, but anyone got experience with both that can weigh in? Does one have better on site amenities/camping than the other?
