I have a 6.5prc that I love and I bought a 7prc in a fierce. I have a 4x20x52 VX5HD. I have 3 of those scopes on different rifles. It is my go to.
I a loading it with 180gr bergers. Chrono about 2960fps
My son just bought a Seekins PH3 Havac. He added the same scope as me. He is shooting 155gr terminal ascent and it is shooting quite well.
So many good choices in rifles these days! Such a good time to be a gun buyer. Getting almost a custom gun in an over the counter rifle these days.
Like said before, get what you want. The thing I like the most about my 7prc is that with my B&T can on it, it is such a soft shooting gun! I think it would be a great western cartridge.
Tgis is what i wonder about. I usaaly dont worry about recoil. I hunt alot with a 45-70. But i want to shoot this gun alot, and i dont know anything about suppressors. Everyone i ask, tells a different story. Will there be a difference in recoil. On the silencer with a muzzle brake, and the deadair over the barrel. I like the over the barrel. Because its shorter, but i really want to be able to shoot this gun alot. Evertging im reading, says 7prc doesn't have alot of recoil?
