This shouldn’t surprise anyone that has ever listened to anything he’s said. This is the same guy that voiced support for red flag laws, banning bump stocks, and said he didn’t like suppressors and suggested they shouldn’t be legal.
Trump is absolutely better than any of the D alternatives, but let’s not pretend he’s a staunch conservative. It’s just that the entire political spectrum has shifted so far left overall, that it makes him appear a little further right than he used to.
