Yes, all you need is the battery and a flat spot to mount it. This can be as simple as a piece of plywood bolted to your existing battery tray, or you can fabricate a dry box and close in the compartment under the seat and gain some storage. The lcd screen is optional, you can use an app on your phone instead or have both. It's very convenient, but not necessary to mount the charger inside the cart, if so you will most likely want to install a 110volt plug in like for the battery charger on a boat. If you have 12v accessories and they are currently running off of one or two of the individual lead acid batteries, you will either have to get a 48v to 12v converter, or put in a seperate 12v battery for them. If it's just lights and maybe a radio the converter is great. If it's a winch and big lights, stereo with amps and subs, etc then you will want a seperate 12v battery. If your current setup doesn't split off a battery or two to run the 12v then you probably already have a converter. It can be as simple or as complex as you want. Take lots of pictures before you disassemble anything and if not sure, ask.
As far as the linked battery on Amazon, yes it is 1 48v battery. I used the same battery for my ezgo with a simple install it took about 30 minutes. I used the same brand, but larger size in my bad boy ambush. Fairly complicated install with winch, lights, extra 12v battery, two chargers, etc. Took about 3 hours. There are other options that use individual lithium batteries that directly replace what you have, same size, and wire back exactly like they are now. These are generally much more expensive though.
