I was given a full box of .277 140gr Barnes X bullets. These are the original X bullets without the relief grooves cut in them. I really haven’t read much good things about them. Has anyone had any experiences with this bullet and would it be worth my time to test a few?

The early Barnes bullets we’re known to cause pressure, the stripped copper has no where to go that has since been fixed with the tsx, ttsx, and lrx they make fantastic bullets now
