My son closes on his land next week. He and I want a garden on the land.

But it's not gonna be occupied all the time. So I'm thinking of building a green house.

Help keep the pests and critters out. Who hear has done it?

Pointers? I've looked at a variety of different types. Half Arch. Metal frames, etc..

Don't really know which way to go with it.

I don't know anything about greenhouses, but am interested in following this thread.

Small change to the OP. What I really want is a structure with bug netting over it. Not the plastic or poly. I want rain in. And pests out. But won't argue with a little bit of UV protection from the material.

I'm researching all options. I do like how my plants react to natural rainfall verses manually watering.

If you keep the bugs out, you’re keeping the pollinators out.

Same with a green house. I get it. I'll sort that out as needed. But I can't be there to monitor things like hornworms and they can decimate my garden before I know they are there.

Things that really require pollinators I'll plant outside it if needed. But the things that don't require them I want covered to prevent the amount of heartache I had this year.
