I didn’t read all 5 pages, so I’m sure this has already been mentioned, but it’s a global issue with most of the developed world having rates at levels not seen since right before the global financial crisis…. Yup countries are also dumping UST's at rates that haven't been seen since 2007. Most, like China are Japan dumping to help stabilize/strengthen their own economies. Japan as an example, has had to raise their own bond rates to the point where they are shifting their holdings back domestically due to being able to get higher yields on their own Japanese bonds. Believe it or not, most of the rest of the world has major economic problems far exceeding those in the US, and are in a whole lot more trouble than the US. They are bringing their money home, by offering higher yields than other countries. Caused by global economic pressures, caused by………Orange man’s war.
