They were all sandbagging on their weights really bad today. 9 out of the 10 broke 100lbs. Took almost 110 to win. Only guy in the top 10 not breaking 100 missed it by a few ounces. That fishery is ridiculous. What's ridiculous is ffs. Your boat is your drone and your ffs is your camera. My .02 More like ffs is your game camera that sends real time info to you. There is no difference far as I can see. I like and use both!

There is no difference far as I can see. I like and use both! Well, ffs is mobile while a cellular game camera is stationary. But cellular game cameras are already being restricted or banned in some states. I'm sure ffs will soon be regulated also. A simple Google search will explain why cellular cameras are violating fair chase rules. Here's one AI statement on them. Cellular game cameras are being heavily restricted or outright banned across numerous states to protect the principles of "fair chase," reduce hunter conflicts, and limit the reliance on technology to harvest big game like deer.State wildlife agencies generally enforce these restrictions through four main regulatory approaches

I refuse to add the FFS....partly because of what Beadle mentioned above about it ruining the fun of it, and partly because I'm cheap. I've only got about $4k in my old Venture, so I'm not putting $2k worth of electronics on it. I've got a [very] basic Lowrance Hook on it with Sonar and DI, along with an old school flasher (that I have no idea how to use), and that's all I intend to have on it. I fish more out of my kayak than I do the boat. I prefer fishing from the kayak, the boat just opens up more opportunity with the range, as well as being able to fish with the kids/friends. I tell anyone who claims to be bored/burnt out with fishing, go pick up a fly rod. It's basically the fishing equivalent to bowhunting vs rifle hunting. I've even found a few places way back up in creeks around here that are narrow, meandering shallow creeks through grass flats where I can sight-fish bass with my flyrod. If I squint my eyes a little, I can almost trick myself into thinking I'm inshore-fishing for redfish on the coast...it ain't quite the same, but it'll do in a pinch till I can get back South. I fly fish from both the kayak and the bass boat. ![[Linked Image from i.postimg.cc]](https://i.postimg.cc/63s84Zq8/IMG-5332.jpg)
