We had this guy at Camp Geiger, North Carolina. He was the dude who made the fresh eggs. Omelets, fried eggs, whatever you wanted...

He would always be singing... "I am the Eggman, I am the Walrus, Cooco Ca Choo, Cooco Ca Choo..."

You being a Marine, I'm sure you have spent time on a ship or two.

One thing I used to tell the new boots, Underway, never piss off the cooks.


The biggest thing that surprised me once I got to Boot Camp and the Fleet Marine Force, well at least beck in the early 1980's, was the quality of the food. We really had pretty damn good food everywhere I served. And I know good food.
