That's a good idea...

If you want to be laughed out of the place.

I was definitely being facetious.

To be fair, this is 1300 acres that he has high fenced…..However, they are all native Louisiana deer……It just gives you an idea of the true potential…..All of those extra points and mass are a result of nutrition......That's ^^^^^ just right down the skreet in Pineville

Apparently hurricane Laura really messed his place up bad……He said in the 5 years prior to the hurricane he had grown 7 bucks over 200 inches and none since the hurricane……It blew down a lot of his timber and turned the place into an overgrown jungle……He’s actually sold his cows too…..Said something about losing his cattle manager and not having anyone to help take care of them……Sounds like he’s gonna try and mow a lot of the understory to keep it in early succession….He really gets into planting a lot of food plot acreage for the deer too……

I’m thinking he has introduced some genes into his gene pool.

Naw, I'm pretty positive he told me them are just native deer......He feeds a lot of protein feed too along with his food plot program and understory management so I'm sure that helps.....
