There’s a few members here who know me well. One member is my cousin who knows me better than anyone except my wife.
Hell, I could be the poster boy for PTSD but nothing would excuse my behavior or responsibility for hurting or killing somebody else.
Add in the mix, those children and I have zero sympathy for that bitch monster who killed them. She needs to suffer appropriately.

I hate making a good first impression. There’s no way I can keep that shit up.

Im leaning toward acquittal, or not guilty because of insanity.

I’ve refrained from commenting on this but now I will
There is no doubt there are mental health problems because I have dealt with PTSD on and off for years
There’s no amount of prayer or spiritual advice that will make a man forget things he’s seen but it does help ease the effects when dealing with it
Now I will also say that in too many cases mental illness is blamed for demonic activity operating through different individuals
The case with this woman is just such a case as this
She said she had been hearing voices telling her to do evil things and then she did what she was being told and murdered her children
Medication does not help spiritual matters

When I need expert advice I tend to talk to myself

Several things can be true at one time
She was mentally ill it appears and the drug cocktail was a helluva mix.
She’s also guilty as hell for killing her kids
She could be not lucid as to what she was doing at the time but she understood enough to know it was wrong

It’s pretty complex but justice should be for the kids that lost their lives. Not her

If found not guilty by mental disease or defect, she will be turned loose as soon as she is deemed not a threat to society. She’ll be locked up and treated and evaluated in a mental hospital and kept until she is deemed safe. That may be 10 days or 10 years. Perhaps she’ll die first, but more than likely she’d be free first.

I will say this as my wife and my nurse have been talking about this daily. All I’ll say is that the husband has not done a good job of showing he is innocent.

Bridge water is a mental illness facility. I posted earlier.

Quote
Bridgewater State Hospital is a secure forensic psychiatric facility for men in southeastern Massachusetts that is currently operated under the state prison system rather than mental health authorities. A "forensic psychiatric hospital" is a medical facility that evaluates and treats people with mental illness who are involved in the criminal justice system

Yates is still in the system

What are the odds she’ll not serve any to little time. Most cases serve similar sentences whether innocent due to mental illness or guilty. I’m sure there cases where they walk quickly. But the averages say otherwise.

Hinkley got out but how long did he serve for shooting Reagan.

I realize Massachusetts is different than Alabama but how many times does the mental illness angle get perps out of guilt. It pretty dang rare

Either way, any menace individual that would kill their kids under senseless conditions, has no business being in society. She either goes to jail or a padded room for the rest of it's life.
