I looked it up and Yates ended up there after being transferred from a high security facility more to your liking. She won several appeals so she was transferred. She’s still not free and been in the system for over 20 years.
I recall her case more than this one. She deserves much rise than she got. These years death row means 20-30 years if not longer. That’s not what it was designed for either.
