I was looking to see when the SOA hunt registration goes live and noticed there are two new SOAs this year. SHELBY SOA — Shelby County and CHALK HILL SOA — Tallapoosa County. Anybody know anything about these properties? LINK

I don’t know this for sure but I’d almost bet they took the Coon Creek tract of Yates WMA and made it into that Chalk Hill SOA

The shelby co soa will be the area around the new shooting range they are building off hwy 25. Think it's a bow only area.

Just over the first hill south of columbiana. It was a private runway hanger. The state bought it and had youth dove shoots for several years.
