No buddies hanging out at the Beach Bungalow last night, just Irish and Boho doin' their thang. Some storms blew through, but by the time we were ready to cook it was just a slight drizzle so we decided to fire up the grill... Whenever I buy a whole beef tenderloin to process into fillets, I take all the smaller end pieces and extras and cube those up for future fillet mignon kebabs. Last night I took those and made a Korean style marinade of: Avocado oil Soy sauce Honey Garlic microplaned Ginger microplaned Salt Pepper We marinated that while we had a little happy hour out on the screened porch. I got the Baby Kamado fired up, threaded the chunks of marinated tenderloin on the sticks and grilled them over the coals until aout 130 degrees internal temp. Meanwhile Boho took the rest of the marinade, poured it into a skillet and made a sauce out of it, cooked us up some green beans and yellow saffron rice. Pretty simple meal, but man...
