The legal is answer is you can receive the deer as a donation from anyone who legally harvest and report it as theirs. Don’t make this complicated. Joe kills deer. Joe reports deer. Joe donates deer to Frankie with a donation slip. Frankie processes and picks up deer from processor. Easy peasy. But won't it count against thier buck limit ?
