But won't it count against thier buck limit ? I do this i aint gonna be picky about what they kill.
Yes and it should if they kill it.

How hard is this? If everyone said FU to the laws, we'd be in a real pickle.

Leave the politics to the politicians and shoot deer. What you’re describing shouldn’t be complicated with some dumb laws

Gents _ it sounds like Frankie needs:

1) a Friend to hunt with him who can track and load his deer because he still likes to HUNT
2) Deer Meat to eat
3) Friends who are willing to Help him Harvest deer off His Own Land and Kill one themselves

Help out a Brother - Thanks

The deer. Came from the side of the road and crashed into the passenger door.

I do this every year. I kill a deer and take it to processor and claim it. If someone wants it they can pay the processor and pick it up. I’ve also paid for it and just give it away most of the time. It’s not complicated.

Recon I'm gonna do the same next year. Haven't hunted in a few years. Life dominating me. But if it weren't for us, my SIL and her grandson would be half starved. I couldn't care less if she eats. But he deserves better.

If I can put a deer in her freezer, it will take some of the edge off me. I won't let my Diamond J Bar L beef go easy. They are already getting a decent share of the vegetables I grow.

I always give a bunch of processed deer away. Mostly to folks that don’t hunt but enjoy it. I enjoy giving it away as well as vegetables we grow (this year our garden didnt make, so none to give away) My daughter and her husband eat a decent amount, but he started hunting and should be able to kill all they need.

It looks like the state owes you money. Its their deer and it was not being kept up with responsibly.

I keep a decent amount of deer in my freezer. Some of my really close buddies, I even process them a deer or so for them. I've acquired all the equipment for burger, cube steaks, and different mixers for jalapeño and bacon cheese burger. It's time consuming, but helping buddies and helping them save a few bucks, and vacuum sealing for them. Makes us better friends for life. I am a firm believer in paying it forward. Had way to much help from dear friends in my life.

Love a good hunting story, love my family and friends. Some people you can't, but acted like do.

I get deer donated to me lol
I’ll text one of the guys hunting the farm that I need a doe. They enter their harvest and I use that number.
Many times someone will call and ask if I want one. Last year I had two given. They even dropped of at the processor. Lol
