I spent a lotta time in Panama in my younger days and what started out as a joke has become a serious conversation. I know several people who have retired there and love it, I can take what I’ve planned on retiring with here and live like a king there. Modern medicine, country living, great fishing and all at 1/6 of the cost of retirement here.
Now that the shop transition is pretty much handled, we’re seriously considering selling the farm and moving south. I know several folks that have retired to Panama. They love it.
