E you having ulcers from worrying to much “A $400K mortgage is now $3,000/month. A $400K mortgage was $1,500/month in 2021. $1,500 more each month for the same home.” You’re too young to realize that 2021 and 2022 mortgage rates were a once in a lifetime, short term occurrence. If you were not able to take advantage, you missed your chance and it’s never coming back. Nothing close to those rates will ever be seen again. Mortgage rates today are still lower than the long term historical average by almost a full point. From 2009-2022 rates averaged below 5.5% 13 years is not a lifetime; I have financed homes as high as 13% and as low as 2.99%
