I gotcha I understand what you are saying. Most of the info I read on it said it will help the herd overall and help beef farmers over all but not in away they want to be helped. It will give them some vision to rebuild their herds by driving demand down. Kind of like printing helps a tree. It hurts to begin with but better for them in the long run. They also said that the savings may never reach the consumer. Grocery stores and meat packing facilities may absorb the cheaper beef as profit instead of passing savings on down the line. Who knows. Economics are complex things.

I’m not saying you are wrong, I’m just trying to understand. Prices are lower, less beef is sold, farms can rebuild their herd when they sell less beef… is this not correct?
