If you were not able to take advantage, you missed your chance and it’s never coming back. Nothing close to those rates will ever be seen again. Mortgage rates today are still lower than the long term historical average by almost a full point. From 2009-2022 rates averaged below 5.5%

These young folks don’t get it They should’ve been around for those 18-21% home loans. They were a lot more affordable back then too

We’ve added to it as we’ve gone along but we’re at least 8Xs maybe more. I haven’t looked at quarterlies this year. I’d probably panic and pull everything and put in something safe. Something very safe. Our guy say keep rolling and Im nervous as hell.

We bought out house in a variable in 2000. We had to move quick so that was quick. We refinanced in 2011 at around 3% and paid off early.
It’s an old historical house but it’s ours. I keep waiting for prices to drop but we’re about to drop 50-60 in some off area and new roof. New roof in the next month or depending on scheduling. Done with insurance bs and our agent retired. I’m still mad about that but to no avail.

Everybody wants change,until,it gets in their pocket a little bit. As soon as it takes a couple dollars away from travel ball, vacation, new fishing boat or a nicer truck or bigger house than the neighbors just bought, change ain’t worth shit, it went the wrong way. Hell I wish ol’ camel toe woulda won and nobody would have anything to bitch about for sure, world would be just lovely. Actually probably most somebody’s for one reason or another will be pissed. To many cameras watching, cameras didn’t see it when it did happen to me instead of accidentally catching me when it happened to the neighbor.
