Here’s another factor
I sat in an audience and listened to a guy that ran this operation
They imported so many calves from outside of the country. He called them by their origin. Buyers bought from all over. Mexicans, Hawaiians, wherever. Now they’re no longer cause the borders have closed down. Now only raised in America are bing finished. Not sure about carcasses if they allowed to be imported. I’d assume so with this hamburger meat.

Slaughter beef has to be inspected for age as to whether meat can contain spinal or bone. Older than I think 33 months the meat has to be off the bone



Whos inspecting that in Argentina? And how do you tell, once its boxed or ground into hamburger? Just one more regulation that adds to the costs here!
