Billy Bob wakes up, lights a cigarette, and starts dropping F bombs. Nobody wants to hear that. Same problem with the HBO series "Deadwood" a while back. It was a great series with great acting and writing, but it almost seemed like they had a bet with someone to see how many F-bombs and other filthy language they could work in there. I'm not necessarily offended by bad language, I'm able to look past it....but it was so gratuitous that it became distracting from what would have otherwise been one of the best shows in a LONG time.

I like it. The best line was when he lit up a smoke and his wife asked him if she made him want to do that, and he replied “you make me wanna suck the freon out of the air conditioner out back.” Their banter back and forth is what makes the show. Billy Bob, and the rest of Hollyweird sucks, but he plays his part well. We’d have to cancel all entertainment if we only watched people who are more aligned with our way of thinking. If we knew them personally, most all actors, actresses, musicians, and ball players probably suck as humans.

I don’t watch much tv, but Landman along with Yellowstone and a few others are the only soap operas me and my wife both watch together. She watches all kinds of other crap, but Landman is my kind of crap ^^^This. I find it great entertainment. In fact, I find all of Taylor Sheridan's stuff great entertainment.

She watches all kinds of other crap, but Landman is my kind of crap ^^^This. I find it great entertainment. In fact, I find all of Taylor Sheridan's stuff great entertainment. I like most of them. I will not watch lioness because (judging from the promos) that’s just a bunch of woke nonsense.
I hate making a good first impression. There’s no way I can keep that shit up.

We have watched the whole first season and part of the second. While Landman has been entertaining, some of it has been dramatic for no reason, mainly the job safety stuff.
We typically finish each episode with me reminding my wife that there is no woman on the planet hot enough to treat me like Billy Bob's character gets treated by Ali's character, and my wife agreeing with me. Any woman who throws things at her husband needs to be divorced, unless she is returning fire.
I have more than one friend with a wife who treats them shitty. My wife is more critical of the behavior of those wives than I am. I have two friends in marriages that I would have left years ago, but every man sets his own limits. We socialize with couples that we both like both partners, and I do lunches and guys only hunting/fishing trips with my friends who have that type of wife.

If someone looked at Bruce Lee they would instantly blow him off since he weighed between 130 to 140 lbs. I am pretty certain Ole Billy Bob ain’t much for fighting but point is just looking at someone and thinking ole they ain’t nothing for fighting can put yourself in a dangerous spot.

I like most of Taylor's stuff. If y'all are trying to avoid cussing, then check out Marshals the spin off with Kacey Dutton. It was pretty good, but it was no Yellowstone!
