I haven't seen anything that says once you reach 65 you still have to pay for a turkey hunting license. Deer and Turkey are both covered under a normal license from what I can see. In the turkey survey they sent out a couple of days ago. There were a couple of questions related to possible future separate Turkey and Deer licenses. It makes me think they’ll make all Turkey hunters get the Turkey license/“permit” even if aged out of standard game license. I’m speculating based on the questions existing in the survey and statements by previous ALDCNR leadership indicating a distaste for the freebies given to aged out freeloaders.
