The three most expensive line items for most are
Housing/utilities
Transportation/related like insurance&gas
Groceries/dining
All of these have risen tremendously since Q1 2020.
American consumers are getting squeezed.
Trump campaigned on amongst other things but relevant to this discussion and a major reason I voted for him; $2 gas, no new wars and ending the war in Ukraine within his first week.
If these 3 above were the priorities, the American people would have a different reality in August 2026.
