Last week a guy I graduated high with bonded out of Blount county jail on molesting a child under 12. I knew him in school we weren’t close friends but he never put off a bad vibe to me. Well know we know it’s his granddaughter. My first thoughts is get him to swinging from a tree as soon as possible. I knew nothing of the situation but others have told me he and his wife had custody of his granddaughter. And the daughter’s mother was behind this. There again if that’s true she should be swinging from a tree. But if that’s true is true and she is behind it his life is destroyed regardless. Even if found innocent by a jury he will always be labeled a pervert. And I have no info one way or the other. No matter who is telling the truth the bad person needs to answer for their actions. Had this to happen to a guy I worked with except it was his stepdaughter who he had adopted. She hit her teens, got into weed and alcohol. He tried to discipline her (grounding, took her phone, the usual). She got a friend to ruff her up and she screamed rape. He was locked up, lost his job, went to trial where he was found innocent. Do you think that got any coverage? That man’s life was ruined for being a good stepdad trying to keep that girl on the straight path.
