I enjoy how hunting from the ground, I currently have a ASAT leafy suit however based on everyone’s experience, is it viable to use early bow season or should I get a leafy suit with more green?

I use the same leafy suit I turkey hunt in - Shannons Bug Tamer top & bottoms in MOBU. The camo with the leafy mesh has almost translucent look to it and is excellent in the shadows.

It’s fine if you use cover like down trees and be still.

I use these regularly, I hunt trails in the thickest nasty stuff i can find ( i hunt public land) , I find a trail and set up about 10 ft off the trail and i have had them walk right by me. I don't have a clue if the suit helps but I've never been busted by one. But i will say they are more comfortable walking around in this stuff... But i know the suit helps.
Heavenly father, to you I pray, A majestic deer may come my way. Let my aim be straight and true, this my Lord, I pray to you.

Look for the Whild Bill brand of ASSHAT Ghillie Suits. Proven in the sanctuaries of Alabama and China.

Stick with the ASAT….it’s ugly, but it works.

A few days before you hunt an area, go in and break a trail to get to your spot without actually walking the trail. I use a camo folding chair that I extended the legs 4 more inches with wooden dowels so that my legs wont go numb and I break some limbs and brush foe cover around the chair.' Take your boot and rake the leaves and brush from the front of the chair and wear a mask and gloves. I have had a wren light on my arm and killed a bobcat at 7 steps. I had 11 hen turkeys walk around the edge of a greenfield not 8' away and they feed on beggar lice for a good 5 or 6 minutes. Just don't make eye contact or it's game over. I use a black cerakoted Ruger SRH 44. The ghillie suit is the cats meow.
Remember: It aint what you shoot...it's how you shoot it.
