............ and buy them from Sand Mountain Toyota. My wife has a '21 Highlander , it seems some of them have a transmission problem , (high pitch whine). There is a bulletin but not a recall. Hers was out of warrantee by 19k miles and we did not have the extended warrantee. Being a loyal Toyota customer along with the help of Marshall, the Sand Mountain Toyota service manager , Toyota put in a new transmission yesterday at $ 0 cost to us.  This is not the first time Toyota has come through for me. I had a '06 , black, Tacoma the paint bubbled up on the roof and hood. It too was well out of warrantee but I got Toyota to paint the hood and roof. Crazy that Toyota transmission went out at 80k miles.
